Hotel was really beautiful, Decor of rooms was very tasteful. Beds very comfortable. Su the manager was really superb, in fact all the staff were happy, polite, helpful and delivered service to an excellent standard. all extremely accomodating and nothing was too much both. We went for our friend's 40th and all our requests were dealt with with ease. We had fantastic food in the restaurant in evening and best scrambled eggs ever at breakfast. Warm friendly atmosphere. Absolutely perfect for a wonderful weekend or longer. We wanted our weekend to be special and it certainly was. We will definitely be going back.

The customer service at the halford is outstanding from the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing is to much trouble, i would highly recommend this accommodation.

Breakfast good,staff friendly,food at dinner good except three out of our group of five ordered fish cakes as a main course which were a rather tough chew -- had been cooked obviously a bit earlier and didn,t taste that great.16th Century Inn with a very nice ambiance downstairs in the bar and dinning area.
This coach house inn is not very suitable as a place to stay.Although it is smack bang in the middle of the countryside it is also on a very busy main road in the daytime,at night it is really quiet.I,m not sure if all the bedrooms are to the front of the building,but those of us who had rooms to the front were woken up at 6.30 in the morning both nights by the noise of lorries and cars speeding by.Double/triple glazing would need to be put in order for this inn/hotel to be considered suitable accomodation.The rooms were also much too warm heating wise and were uncomfortable to sleep in,we had to in fact turn off the radiator altogether.

It was very relaxed and welcoming. Tries to accomodate its patrons in anyway they can.
It would not suite people who are used to the 'Premier Inn' type hotel but that is why we liked it and would not wish to alter it.

Comfortable bed. We had a deal so it was value for money.
On a very noisy busy road. Ventilation difficult to achieve. Dark room (pine nut). As stated previously, dirty carpet on stairs. We didn't think the breakfast was as good as mentioned in reviews, poor selection of cereals, overdone toast. Whilst eating breakfast, receptionist spoke in a loud voice most of the time. We thought this was not professional. Dog in breakfast room. Staff ok but not friendly as stated in reviews. Would have been very disappointed has we paid more.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Location and ambience were good. Food was of a good standard and reasonably priced. Room was comfortable. Bar had a great atmosphere and the duo who sang a variety of songs on the night were excellent entertainment, yet not intrusive.
Disappointed with the dinner menu as we expected it to be more varied and exiting reflecting the location and price of the room which was the same as we paid the night before at a 5-star Hotel. Little things such as there were no coat hangers in the wardbrobe which was passed its best. A liitle more work is needed to improve standards and to clearly focus itself on who are its target customers and their requirements.

Convenient, comfortable, friendly. Nearing the end of a redesign in an charming and attractive style. Set on the edge of a beautiful, medieval, Warwickshire village. The building is very old and there are plenty of low beams to beware of. Perhaps not good for the elderly or infirm, but great for anyone else.

The rooms were quirky and well designed. Good atmosphere and very comfortable. Loved the place and would come again. Only negative would have liked the bar to be a little more casual to just have a drink. Felt like you needed to order food. Great place on the whole.

Having stayed here before, we were upgraded to a suite, and given two complementary glasses of wine. The room was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. The price even included full English breakfast! We will definitely stay again.

The relaxing atmosphere and very helpful, friendly staff. Stayed in the "Must Be Nuts Suite" which has a lovely large, deep bath and separate shower. Excellent "cooked to order" breakfast. Husband also commented on the excellent beer served at the Halford Bridge.
